So I'm sick. With what? I don't know. I went to the influenza assessment clinic they said I didn't have the H1 but I saw a doctor and he said that I do indeed have the H1. Well fantastic can I get a blood test to see whats what? Nope. I guess time will tell. Oh I also have above average (prehypertension) blood pressure. So no more salty goodness or fatty foods for me. Fruit veg and fish are the dietary confinements for now. Also gonna get cardio on a regular basis once I'v produced all my antibodies. If none of that has an effect they are gonna strap a device that checks my blood pressure every hour of a single day then records it for the doctors to analyze. Hopefully its something that is manageable and I don't need to get a new kidney or heart or something along those lines. It will only further add to my philosophical obsession with death.

Kicking things off
So I should start off with a little bio I suppose. I was born and raised in Lethrbridge Alberta Canada. Growing up was fun but kind of shitty. I was shy and dumb in elementary. I was just stupid kid in junior high hanging out with the wrong crowd trying to be bad ass and stuff hoping that girls would go gaga. The only reason I think I was a retard was because people treated me like I needed training wheels for everything, or because I have un diagnosed a.d.d. In high school I started to figure out where I should be headed with my life. Took a semester off to work as a geomatic surveyor before I realized I wanted to help people and science was something that I could get psyched about, as long as it was non mathematical. Spent a year at the college getting my pathetic high school grades up as well as taking chem and physics. I'm in my second year now at the U of L and I'm perusing a B.H.Sc in Public Health which seems pretty dope to me. I never thought I would ever ever ever be in uni. I feel like university has put me on the right track. I'm the president of the U of L climbing club, have
a beautiful girl friend, and I get to climb lots, life is good.
Climbing stole my soul. I took the belay class just about two years ago at the uni and I'v gotten hooked. Within 4 months I was up to 5.10+ 5.11- routes at the gym and I was stoked to see where climbing would take me. I've played other "sports" (if you wanna call climbing a sport) like soccer, rugby, badminton and I could
never compare to all the other super athletes with drive to be the best. Climbing, on the other hand has allowed me to push me. It took away the comparison while still offering something that was exciting, motivating and beautiful. Since climbing I have been to Red Rocks two time, ten+ trips to the bow valley, three trips to lake louise, countless trips to the Glenwood erratic and a few odd trips to frankslide stonehills and others. My current goal is to get my climbing in the 5.12 range for red pointing and 5.11+ onsights. This past summer I had some good goes on a hand full of 5.12s the all went but no red points. Then again I only climbed each route twice, so projecting was very minimal. The next trip is back down to red rocks for the xmas break. The goal is to bag Fear and Loathing III 5.12a which I hang dogged last year. I also want to snag a few other 12.s and maybe go back to Monster Skank 5.13b in the front corridor and see if I can get further on it.
For now though I'm stuck in school trying to stay healthy and in shape as well as getting decent grades. Its not the easiest balance for me, but I'm sure my fitness will be compromised for sure.

First Post
Just getting this thing up hopefully will allow me to document some of the highlights of my life. Including climbing, traveling, partying and all the other random stuff that no one plans for. I think that putting my life out on to the internet will give me some way to vent or maybe just a way for people to get caught up with me. Whatever, I guess time will tell.
